Be Kind, Be Supportive, Be Alert, Be Careful
Harmony Christian Church has been taking steps to respond to Covid-19. Just like many other churches across the USA HCC did not gather in person for many months in the Spring. Since we started meeting in person HCC has been cleaning the building between gatherings.
On Sundays at HCC there are masks available, hand sanitizer and seating that is set up for social distancing. In addition a person can wear a black, orange or red wristband to signify their personal comfort level from non-contact to limited contact.
Over all HCC asks people during this time to:
Be Kind - this is a stressful time for us all. Tensions and anxieties are running high. So be kind towards others we are all going through this in various ways.
Be Supportive - People need support during this time. Parents are trying to figure out school for their children. Many people are feeling more alone than ever. There are people all around you that could use your support. Be it a phone call, text, or dropping off a homemade meal.
Be Alert - Covid-19 is real and has caused the deaths and illness of many. Be alert to your health and to how you interact with others.
Be Careful - Taking precautions such as wearing a mask, washing your hands, staying home if ill are all ways to love yourself and your neighbor.
